Anyone tried proper ceramic coating on their daily driver in this heat?

I've been going back and forth on whether to get a ceramic coating done on my Q5 because honestly I'm not sure if it's worth the investment for a car that sits in the sun all day while I'm at work. I've read so many mixed opinions online, some people swear by it and say it's a game changer for keeping the car clean, while others reckon it's overhyped and a good wax does the same job for way less money. The thing is, my car is black and the swirl marks are already pretty bad from the previous owner, so I figure if I'm going to get it paint corrected then I might as well protect it properly afterwards. I've been trying to learn more about exotic car detailing in Musaffah Abu Dhabi because I've heard there are some decent shops around that area that actually use proper equipment and products, not just the cheap stuff that wears off after a few weeks. I don't want to drop a couple thousand dirhams only to end up with something that fails in six months, you know? If anyone here has actually done it and can tell me whether the maintenance is really as low as they claim, or if you still have to be super careful with washing techniques, I'd really appreciate the honest feedback. Also curious about how it handles the dust storms we get here because that's my biggest concern honestly.
